Inamo

Tamsin and I have been meaning to go this place for an age, so this evening when we found ourselves in Soho we thought we'd finally track it down.
On arrival we had to wait in the bar downstairs for around 15 minutes, it was well worth the wait! (to be honest anywhere you have to wait for on a Tuesday night is bound to be good!)

Stepping into Inamo is like walking off the streets of 2013 into 2020. Inamo is an interactive restaurant this means that all the tables are projected onto and they almost become one massive iPad. Pretty cool eh?

We could also change the 'texture' of our table.. I put it on shuffle to mix it up slightly.

I had a little gander through the different options, when scrolling through the menu the image of the food or drink on the menu is projected into your plate.. its devilishly tempting. We had to restrain ourselves from ordering the whole menu!

Another feature I came across was the 'kitchen cam' ..yes, we can seee youuuu!

To begin we decided to settle on some cocktails, I had a Lychee martini while Tamsin fancied a passion fruit concoction

Now, this is what we really wanted to find out.. did the food live up to our expectations? ummmm that would be a, firm yes! The waiter advised we ordered 2 small and 1 large dish each.. of course we didnt listen...

We thought the best thing, just order now and worry about the bill/ dont look at it at the end!
I ordered chicken satay, although Tamsin is allergic to peanuts so couldn't have any.. what a shame. for her! And some small crispy prawns, Tammy ordered some squid and spring onion dim sum, some tuna sushi which was DEVINE, and some king prawns, I happily helped her out!

Chicken Satay:

The king prawns didn't last long..

 Small crispy prawns:

Oh no, we couldn't stop there, it was time for the large dishes! We got tapping away on our interactive table for another order..
Tamsin went for some beef which came with a hot stone, we were able to sear the meat on the outside, it was beautifully tender and full of flavor, it came with a selection of three sauces.

As you can tell we're not the veggie types..

Although saying that I went for a thai red curry.. which to be honest for me, could have done with some chicken although it had a beautifully creamy, fragrant flavor.

I would highly recommend a visit here, it is like nowhere else I have been in London. Cant think of anywhere to go and want something different Inamo on Wardour Street in Soho is the place for you!
